Hey, anybody else who's curious about the storylines in the new Buffy comic, but doesn't want to buy them? Here's a review that pretty much spells it all out for you:

Look, the fact is, I'd rather be stuck with the vague endings we got, where I can at least end the story the way I want, then get some less satisfying crap from Whedon and have all those imagined endings be wrecked. He closed the door, so to speak, and I've come to be comfortable with the window open. I don't want the door open again.

In Buffy viewing news... OH MY GAWD I forgot about Faith, Hope and Trick. When Buffy tells Giles and Willow that Angel was cured when she sent him to Hell? KILLED. ME.

Of course, then naked Baby falls out of the sky and everything is yummy again... for a while, anyway. BRING ON THE ANGST!

See, now, I got inspired to start writing a darker, naughty fic the other day from watching episodes. Maybe I need to give up watching TV all day, and write, then just watch Buffy and Angel eps at night?

HA! I've got an add-on for Firefox that alerts me when r I've got new Gmail. When I'm not online, a little sign comes up that says "Whoops! Could not connect to Gmail." But you know the title bar at the top that tells you what program you're running, or gives you a run down of the error message?

The little alert says, "OH NOES!" on top. Somebody has a sense of humor. Hee.

He's right, though, he is entitled to his opinion. Just as I am entitled to the opinion that his opinion is not only whacked, but dangerous. Psychiatric drugs are the cause of school shootings? Really? Not, say... the easy availability of guns and utter disinterest/too busy-ness of parents? Not a culture that glorifies solving problems with violence? Not being raised in a world where fake "reality" and celebrity "news" are more important than the horrors of war, genocide, famine, disease and ignorance?

Okay!

I really need an icon that says that.
