I have many fond wishes. Right now, my fondest (for some reason, I typed "dongest" first. BWAH!) wish is that I had high speed internet. I wanna be like the cool kids and download movies and TV shows and stuff! I wanna download entire albums in less than a week! I want to do all the neet things the 21st century internet has to offer! *cries*

Someday! Someday I swear I will make enough money to have a real cellphone (although I probably still won't turn it on... or carry it with me, because I HATE the freaking things) and have high speed internet!

OH! I forgot to tell you -- I finally gave up on BtVS Season 7. I got to about "Take Back The Night", and I started thinking, "Wow, there are about five billion other things I could be doing that are eight billion times more entertaining than this. Starting with cleaning my scary room and clipping my toenails." So I quit. Then I immediately started watching Season 1 again, and half felt better (because I love those cheesy eps so much) and half felt like jumping off something tall (knowing how bad it would get before the end.)

My love affair with the Buffy-verse is a deeply ambivalent thing.

In other watching news, I have been watching the Sopranos for the first time through Netflix. It's a good show, I'm enjoying it, but it's not something I would get addicted to. Like, I have no plans on buying the series on DVD.

I also tried out an episode of Veronica Mars, and honestly? It did nothing for me. I don't really see the parallels with Buffy that everybody talks about, other than the heroine is a little blonde chick with a smart mouth. I'm not saying it's a *bad* show, but it just didn't turn me on enough to come back and watch again on purpose. *shrug* Probably because it's missing the requisite Hot Character I Fall In Love With Preferably In the Form of a Tall, Dark and Handsome Bohunk. *G*

Same goes, sadly, for Dr. Who. I'm sure I'll watch it all through Netflix eventually, but... as much as I love Christoperh Eccleston, I'm not sure I can be bothered to come back to SciFi for it. This one, though, I'm sure I'll check out again.

Of course, I'm sort of off TV in general right now, so it may not be the best time to judge. I think I'll stay in my bunker until genre TV comes back to life again.
