Also, Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian friends!

So... I watched Suck: The Movie last night, and I'm not really sure what I think about it yet. I mean, it's exactly the kind of B vampire movie that I love. It had Alice Cooper, Iggy Pop, Dave Foley, and Henry Rollins in it! Okay, the more I think about it, the more I love it. I loved the completely OTT look of the vampires (hello, the female lead is HOT, dudes. Seriously.) The music is mostly crappy (it's about a band, of course there's music), but it's also hilarious in parts. I point you too "Suck," which contains the lyric, "She'll suck you all night long." Which... ew, and ha, in context.

So check it out if you get the chance. And remember, it's a black comedy, you're not supposed to take it seriously. I saw a review somewhere with somebody RANTING about how bad it sucked as a "serious" vampire movie. Said reviewer is obviously either a monkey or one of those trained monkeys they just have type random stuff and hope they get a review out of it. ;)

You know you're a fangirl when any appearance of your favorite media makes you squee like... well, a fangirl. There's a thing about The Millennium Trilogy on CBS This Morning, right now, and I was running around the house telling a bunch of people who really didn't give a shit before I sat down to watch like I'd never heard any of it before.

And of course, I'll be looking for a version online to download later. VIVA SALANDER!

Okay, thanks to the awesome menomegirl, I found the correct officially official 30daysofangel and 30daysofbuffy. I'm still going to do them here, and probably won't write a lot of essay-level answers, but it'll still be fun. For me anyway. *G*

So, shall we start all three again?

Your favorite female character Pam. She kicks ass, looks good, has a smart mouth, is fiercely loyal, and simply could not be more awesome. Also wears a lot of pink, and has a sadomasochistic streak. Who doesn't love that? Plus, I love that she loves Eric so much, and has his best interests at heart as much as her own. To top it all off, it appears that she gives excellent head, as well.

Favorite Female CharacterOy, this is a tough one. Does it have to be a regular character, or can it be an occasional guest? Because if it's the former, there aren't many choices, and it sure as HELL ain't gonna be Cordelia. So I'd have to say Illyria, even though she was only on for a season. If it can be a guest star? That's even tougher! I mean... Lila, Faith, Gwen. It has to be Faith, though, because Faith is my girl in any situation.

Favorite Female Character - Buffy, by a mile. Since I choose to ignore the comics entirely, I still see her as a hero. Human, flawed, with strengths and weaknesses, who sometimes makes absolutely insane decisions that made me want to chop somebody into little pieces, but ultimately still my hero.

You know how I love LOLcats. Well, Basement Cat and Ceiling Cat ones are my favorite. This one almost made me laugh today even though I feel like crap. ;)

Hey, you know what's fun? When you take meds for your back pain and it gives you EYE TICS. Why the trade offs, pharmaceutical industry. WHYYYYYY?

Illyria! Nggggggggggh. I have naughty thoughts about her. *AHEM*

I do love Buffy but I have a serious soft spot for faith.

Illyria was SO AWESOME. Look, I'm an Angel Girl forever, and I was totally in it for his story, but one of the reasons I was MOST disappointed that they got canceled was because I wanted to see where her character went.

I wrote a porny story about Illyria and Spike once (http://archiveofourown.org/works/5598). I loved how when they were fighting on the show, she said she wanted to keep him as a pet. Hee. I love to imagine how they would have dealt with one another as time went on, especially as she struggled more and more with the "Fredness" inside her. I did read the storyline in the comics (at least the first After the Fall part), but it just wasn't as satisfying.

I love Buffy, of course. She's the hero of our story. But yeah, my allegiance always ends up with the ones who struggle against their own darkness the way Angel and Faith do. Plus, Faith is sexy and awesome. ;)

A friend and I just watched Suck the other day, and it was pretty damn funny. I actually wanted even more humor out of it, but was not disappointed in the high levels of ridiculousness and shiny fun.

Queenie KILLED me. How over the top was he? And Iggy Pop and Alice Cooper... oh, hell, all the stunt casted actors were awesome.

It definitely could have been funnier, but I don't mind a drier wit. Especially when the vampires are so pretty. ;)
